Carver Old Home Day has been a tradition since 1901 providing a day for the community to come together and celebrate the history of our town. The mission of the Carver Old Home Day Association is to continue to provide a relaxing day for families to come out and meet their neighbors and enjoy their families. The Carver Old Home Day Association, Inc. is a non-profit that looks to the town for sponsorship to be able to continue to provide a day full of activities and fun at minimal cost to allow fun for the whole family. We are also proud to share that beginning in 2013 we were able to award our first scholarship to a Carver High School graduate. Thank you to our community and local businesses!
Our day is filled with music from the ages in the morning with a full Brass band playing Bandstand Boogies to Stars and Stripes forever! We follow this with some more modern local talent and familiar sounds you may want to dance to!
You will find us under the pines at Shurtleff Park in Carver, Massachusetts.

We host a yearly Craft Fair for local artists to present their wares for the community. All items must be handcrafted, and we have a wide variety of offerings each year!
We also have a chance for children to show their talents in the bicycle/ doll carriage parade that kicks off at 10:00 am. The children are encouraged to decorate their bikes or carriages with their favorite themes or characters as they parade through the park to the band stand.
The 5-Miler Road Race kicks off at 8:00 am from Shurtleff Park and loops through the back roads and bogs to circle back to the park.

The Horseshoe Tournament registrations being at 8:00am in the back of Shurtleff Park under the pines. Join us for the double elimination tournament and trophies!
The Classic Car Cruise starts at 10:00 am, be sure to reserve your spot! The groups then leave at 11:00am to cruise the back roads of Carver, do not miss out!
The show ends with Trophies for the favorite cars!
The music is for all ages at Carver Old Home Day! We start the day with some classic Americana music from a local Brass Band and move into some more modern tunes from local talents. Stay tuned for undates on who is playing in 2024!
We are able to celebrate this great day each year thanks to the donations of local sponsors and the time donated by volunteers. The entire Old Home Day Committee is made of a small group of people that donate their time to make this great event happen. There is so much to do by so few and yet each year somehow it comes together again! Please reach out if you are interested in becoming part of this amazing group! 508-341-5132
